Organized by the Human Capital Institute, the Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference has a strong line-up planned for this year. We’re particularly excited about the keynote on employer brand storytelling on newer platforms like Instagram, Periscope and Snapchat.

Talent Brand Alliance Talent Brand Summit

When & where: June 13 to June 14, 2018, in Austin.

The Talent Brand Summit is a two-day event intended to advance the state of Recruitment Marketing and help attendees enhance their organization’s attraction strategy. Topics include how to excel in Recruitment Marketing and how to define your strategy and measure ROI.

Social Recruiting Strategies Conference (SRSC)

When & where: August 8 to August 10, 2018, in Austin.

Details and speaking line-up for the second SRSC event of the year have yet to be announced. However, based on past events, we can anticipate an action-packed line-up of speakers and workshops. Past topics have included AI and recruiting, how to create compelling content and how to get executive buy-in for your branding efforts.

FALL CONFERENCES

TATech Fall Congress & World Job Board Forum

When & where: September 26 to September 27, 2018, in New Orleans.

As covered in the spring TATech highlights, these events are intimate and discussion led – ideal for networking and bouncing ideas off of other experts and enthusiasts. The fall TATech Congress will cover topics like branding, the changing face of candidate relationship management, and learnings on Recruitment Marketing agencies, careers sites and more.

Glassdoor Recruit

When & where: September 27, 2018, in Chicago.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural Recruit conference, Glassdoor is putting on the event again this year. The agenda has yet to be announced for 2018 but based on last year’s focus we can anticipate many sessions relevant to Recruitment Marketing. Last year’s highlights included creating more attractive job ads, unique and innovative video approaches to attract candidates and what candidates want from the workplace today.

LinkedIn Talent Connect

When & where: October 9 to October 11, 2018, in Anaheim, CA.

Nobody puts on a conference quite like LinkedIn! Talent Connect is an annual event that draws a lot of great TA people from around the world. While some of the topics are more generally TA geared, there are a ton of workshops and talks that are also great for people who work specifically in Recruitment Marketing. Highlights from the 2017 event included “Activating employees & achieving talent acquisition outcomes,” “How to engage candidates with an always-on digital strategy,” and “The intersection of talent and marketing: Crafting a story people want to be part of.” You can access some of the mainstage talks from 2017 to help you decide if this is a good fit.

ERE Recruiting Conference

When & where: October 15 to October 17, 2018, in Kissimmee, Florida.

The ERE Recruiting Conference is a Talent Acquisition event that tends to have several sessions dedicated to Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing. While the details for the fall event have yet to be posted, you can take a look at the ERE Spring event for a sneak preview of what we might anticipate here. We do know the theme of the fall version of this event is “A Bold Approach to Talent Acquisition and Leadership.”
